REFURBISHING PROCESS:

» Remove all waycovers and inspect all way wipers, replacing as necessary. Clean under waycovers and all areas of machine. Minor dents if waycovers will be repaired and waycover seals replaced where necessary.
» Replace spindle motor fan. Disassemble and rebuild spindlemotor, replace motor bearing, replace idler bearings.

» Remove gib plates and gibs. Hand scrape gibs to fit and verify locking of gibs in holders, repair as needed.

» Repack or replace thrust bearings on axes as needed (replaced X bearings on this machine)

» Clean and refurbish air filter / regulator assembly
» Replace X and Y axis armature and encoder cables as needed. Replace one limit switch and wiring.
» Inspect and replace lube metering units as necessary. Replace any "questionable" lube lines and flex strap.Replace all oil filters.
» Test function of all buttons, lights, and other user input devices. Repair / replace as needed.

» Replace control power supply, replace hard drive with new solid state unit. Repair motherboard. Update software. Install new control shock mounts. Refurbish pendant.
» Service planetary gearbox or mechanical shifting mechanism: change lube, filter and inspect / adjust shifter as necessary
»  Replace spindle drives belts and encoder belt with new.
» Test run machine, and perform Renishaw BallBar test in X-Y plane to confirm accuracy. Adjust servos and machine mechanics as needed.

Wired for Renishaw MP-10 part probe but probing tool not included so that is untested. Wired for Renishaw TS27 tool setter. Stylus is broken so it is also untested
